It’s very rare you get a chance to romp all over a 17-year old, like-new BMW. But my friend Paul Zuckerman has one of the mintest E39 M5’s around, and he all but demanded I go out and take a blast with it. The 2003 model, the final model year (and best model year) is featured in Alpine White, just one of 139 cars painted this color. It’s stock except for a DINAN intake, DINAN exhaust, strut & swaybars, and a short shift kit.
