Everything old is new again! Or so it seems!
No need to adjust your computer screens – or smart TV – what you’re looking at is not a news item from 2011, but instead from 2020.
What you’re looking at is the ‘new’ Aston Martin V12 Vantage Zagato Heritage Twins, and they are based on the old Aston Martin Vantage – rather than the ‘fugly’ new one.
Built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the design house ZAGATO – this new pair will be built by R-Reforged in Warwick, U.K. – the same company that is building the Vanquish 25 for Ian Callum.
Only 19 pairs will be made (19 Coupes and 19 Speedsters, for a total of 38), and you have to buy both – can’t pick one over the other. This pair will set you back CDN$3-million.
Powering the Twins will be the familiar 6.0L V12 motor that now produces 600 hp (in the 2011 V12 Zagato this engine made 510 hp).
