Porsche 918 Spyder 2013 Silver 1/43 Scale Die-cast Model Car.
Hello everyone and welcome to Stu’s Hobby Box and indeed the 4th model car to come from my 1/43 scale die-cast model car collection.
We start at the front of the 918 spyder and anyone that is scared of those 8 leg fury friends can calm as this is more of a calmer ride.
The main key features here are those very nicely styled headlights these were used on the Porsche 919 race car. We can also see those air intakes and the front splitter that curves around at the bottom of the model car.
We move now to the left side where we can see more of this stunning silver Porsche colour which allows us to see more clear those nice curves and elegant styled lines. Those alloy wheels are very nicely done as well.
Moving on to the back of the 918 spyder where we can see a active rear wing just like on the Mclaren P1 which aids in downforce and breaking.
We can also see those nicely styled rear lights and 2 air intakes bellow allowing hot air to exit the car. We can also see the rear splitter.
We move to the right side of the 918 spyder where we can see the same level of details from the left side of this model of the Porsche 918 Spyder. There is an air intake just after the door and a small one just above the front wheel. Notice that there is a 2nd filler cap as well.
Now some Info on the Porsche 918 Spyder in the real world.
The Porsche 918 Spyder was first see in September 2013 where only 918 cars would be built. The 918 is a Hybrid with a 4.6ltr V8 combined with 2 Hybrid (KERS) motor giving the car a total of 887bhp a 0/60 time of 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 214mph and the cost 500.000.
