CUPRA reveals the design secret of the CUPRA DarkRebel and makes its vision of the automotive future come true. The concept vehicle embodies the maximum provocation of the CUPRA design language and sets new standards in design and performance. It is the first vehicle designed entirely in CUPRA virtual space for a future generation of drivers.
The CUPRA DarkRebel Showcar is the result of more than 270,000 configurations by the CUPRA Tribe, which also includes brand ambassadors such as FC Barcelona players Alexia Putellas, Marc ter Stegen and actor Daniel Brühl. The data collected in the online hyperconfigurator flowed into the final design of the CUPRA DarkRebel show car, which has now found its way from the virtual to the real world with the unveiling of the physical version at the IAA MOBILITY in Munich.
The result is an all-electric, two-seat, shooting-brake sports car that reflects the passion and disruptive mindset of the CUPRA brand. Examples of this are a mysterious, mercury-like exterior color, the innovative use of light as a tactile material and a more consistent focus on sustainability.
