Hello everyone and welcome back to the series of Forza drag races, and in today’s video we have a drag race of two interesting cars from the same 1997 era, with both these icons being 1997 models, we line them both up in a straight line drag race, includes the 1997 BMW E36 M3 vs 1997 Mazda RX7. Lets have a look at their specifications.
Lets start off with the 1997 Mazda RX7. A RWD Sports car by Mazda, a car that is currently one of the most rare cars ever to find on the roads. It is also the third-generation of the Mazda RX-7, replacing the Savanna RX-7 from the FC generation. With its iconic 1.3L Twin-Turbocharged 2-Rotor Rotary engine, it produces 281 bhp (after giving it a stage 1 exhaust upgrade), and 217 lb.ft of torque, weighing at just 1284 kg and it uses a 6-Speed Manual Transmission that sends the power to its RWD train.
Now lets move onto the 1997 BMW E36 M3. The E36 Codenamed M3 is the second generation model of the BMW M3 that replaces the 1991 BMW E30 M3. With its 3.2L Naturally Aspirated Inline-6, it produces 350 bhp (after stage 1 exhaust upgrade) and 258 lb.ft of torque, weighing at 1549 kg and it uses a 6-Speed Manual Transmission that sends the power to its RWD.
Now with all the specifications given, lets line both of them down the straight and find out the results.
