Designers of the all-new #Mazda CX-5’s interior focused their efforts on ambience, form, and texture in keeping with the “refined toughness” theme. Aiming for a human-centred ambience, Mazda carefully considered the form of every component to come up with a basic layout providing a pleasing sense of exhilaration and reassuring comfort for all occupants. Then the design team worked to perfect the interior with forms demonstrating both SUV toughness and quality, paying careful attention to the fit and finish of every detail.
The implementation of the #TNGA platform allows #RAV4 to adopt the charisma of a bolder and tougher #SUV, but in a package that is lower and wider. The longer wheelbase and wider front and rear tracks provide a stable, confident driving platform. For off-road prowess, the shorter front and rear overhangs will aid in RAV4’s ability to overcome rugged terrain.
The unibody chassis is 57 percent more rigid than the outgoing version. RAV4 incorporates an optimally tuned multi-link rear suspension, providing ideal damping for handling, minimum interior cabin noise, and the utmost ride comfort. Ground clearance has been increased by more than half an inch, yet RAV4 is able to achieve improved aerodynamics.
In the second generation #Tiguan, #Volkswagen designers have created an SUV that transfers a new design quality to this segment in a progressive and competitive way. The precision and logic of its lines as well as its clear and unmistakably dominant character have led to a visual profile of the Tiguan that clearly differentiates it from its competitors. The exterior and interior also form coordinated units in perfect harmony. This resulted in a new original – a masterpiece.

The exterior has shoulder lines that follow around the pillars to emphasize height and strength. Prominent wheel arches emphasize the standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system’s functionality. Front, side and rear underguards are standard on all models, with color finish according to trim line. New LED headlights are standard on all models and complement the brand’s signature hexagonal grille. High-gloss black or silver trim highlights the Forester’s premium appearance, accentuated by new colors such as Jasper Green Metallic, Horizon Blue Pearl and Crimson Red Pearl.
Forester’s new design brings added function. The wheelbase is increased to 105.1 in. from 103.9 in., with the gain benefitting rear seat legroom, which is now 39.4-in., a 1.4-in. increase. Gains in headroom, hip and shoulder room further bolster passenger comfort and a feeling of spaciousness in the cabin. Wider rear door openings and a steep C-pillar angle make ingress/egress and installing a child seat easier. All Subaru Forester models feature lower body side cladding, which helps protect against mud, rocks and other road debris.
