The restyled Aventador S gained another 40 hp in an engine that was already capable of delivering 700 hp. Maybe we can even see the model live at the Detroit Motor Show, in the USA, which starts on January 8th.
Derived from the Aventador SV, the model gained a more aerodynamic design, an aspect strengthened by the front bumper, which gained two side air ducts. A new exhaust system with three exits also makes it 20% lighter than the one used in the previous configuration of the car. Small changes in this facelift make the vehicle gain 130% more support force on its front axle.
The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine has been optimized and is now capable of delivering 740 hp power and has a seven-speed ISR transmission. The torque remains the same: 70.36 kgfm at 5,500 rpm, but, according to Lamborghini itself, the maximum engine speed has been increased from 8,350 rpm to 8,500 rpm.
