A five-alarm blaze on Tuesday morning (July 28) engulfed six buildings in San Francisco, California, injuring one firefighter.

The fire broke out near the freeway by 13th street and Erie.

The San Francisco fire department was able to contain the fire by late morning but yet to determine the cause.

"I shot the video from my living room about 0.2 miles away," the filmer said. "San Francisco Fire Department was already fighting the fire when I started filming. They had five or six ladders spraying water on the fire, including two that appeared to be stationed on the freeway, which was closed to traffic in the easterly direction."
