Jay Kay’s Signal Green LaFerrari – Jamiroquai Hypercars Walkaround & Details at Museo Enzo Ferrari
The Signal Green Ferrari LaFerrari you see is the one ordered by singer and musician Jay Kay (Jamiroquai) at the Maranello Factory. In 2015 he took part at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, you can find several videos on YouTube. Recently, in 2019, LaFerrari was put on sale at the Joe Macari dealer in London, we don’t know the price. The painting is undoubtedly the thing that characterizes the car; it’s not a wrap, it’s a real colour called “Signal Green”, unique, which makes it different from any other Ferraris including the 500 units built of this model. Even the internal stitching like the seats have the same shade, thus packaging a one-off product in its entirety, not only externally. I want to remind you that LaFerrari is the first hybrid car built by the Maranello factory equipped with a V12 engine that develops 800hp and an electric unit combined with the 120 kW KERS (163hp). The frame and body made with different types of carbon fibre and kevlar make it very light, around 1250kg. The suspensions are triangles on the front end and multilink type on the rear axle. Brembo makes the composite-ceramic material brakes, and the F1 gearbox is a dual-clutch with seven speeds. Performances are at the top, 0-100 km/h under 3 seconds, 0-200 km/h under 7 seconds and 0-300 km/h in 15 seconds with a top speed of over 350 km/h. Do you like this colour? L’esemplare verde di Ferrari LaFerrari che vedete è quello ordinato dal cantante e musicista Jay Kay (Jamiroquai) alla Fabbrica di Maranello. Nel 2015 ha preso parte al Goodwood Festival of Speed, trovate diversi filmati su YouTube. Recentemente, nel 2019, è stata messa in vendita presso il salone di Joe Macari a Londra, il prezzo non è stato comunicato. Sicuramente la verniciatura è la cosa che la caratterizza, non è un wrap ma è proprio un colore chiamato “Signal Green”, unico, che la rende diversa da ogni altra vettura Ferrari compresi i 500 esemplari costruiti di questo modello. Anche le cucitire degli interni come i sedili hanno la stessa tonalità, confezionando quindi un prodotto one-off nella sua totalità, non solo esternamente. Voglio ricordare che la LaFerrari è la prima vettura ibrida costruita dalla casa di Maranello dotata di un motore termico V12 che sviluppa 800cv ed un’unità elettrica abbinata al KERS da 120 KW (163cv). Il telaio e la carrozzeria realizzati con diversi tipi di fibra di carbonio e kevlar la rendono molto leggera, circa 1250kg. Le sospensioni sono a triangoli sovrapposti all’avantreno e di tipo multilink al retrotreno. I freni sono realizzati in materiale composito carbo-ceramico dalla Brembo, ed il cambio F1 è a doppia frizione con 7 marce. Le prestazioni sono al vertice, 0-100 km/h in meno di 3 secondi, 0–200 km/h in meno di 7 secondi e 0–300 km/h in 15 secondi con una velocità massima di oltre 350 km/h. Vi piace questo colore?
